She will have all your favorites and her new Almond Sandie that is just fabulous. Get there early to ensure you can pick up your favorites!

Dabrielle of My Daily Bread found a source for Organic Heirloom Pumpkins! She roasted, pureed and canned so that we could have fresh pumpkin just in time for Thanksgiving! Be sure and check it out under Bakery Offerings.

South Cumberland Food Hub:  Local Food!

Good Morning from the South Cumberland Food Hub. It’s a great day with plenty of sunshine. Enjoy it while it lasts since the cold weather will be moving in towards the end of the week.

Green Door Gourmet picked all of their peppers before the last frost since the plants were wiped out. Their supply will not last too much longer so make plans to order now and chop and freeze for later dishes.

Crow Mountain Orchard encountered a hail storm a couple of weeks ago which wiped out their Fuji crop and hurt their Pink Lady harvest too. They should have apples thru December this year despite these setbacks.

Joyful Noise Acres Farm:  Market closes at 8:00.

Get those orders in! Check out Georgia Farm to Table, lots of greens this week and I have several recipes I will happily share. We have smoked ham hocks and smoked bacon ends available ( not listed on the market yet) to season those greens and beans.

If this minimum is not reached, you will be notified at Market close (6:00pm Monday) and given the option to cancel your order or pick it up at the Lawrenceville location. Cedar Grove Farm:  CSA Availability for 11/14

Hi everyone,

The market is open for the week. We will not be at the farmer’s market on Saturday morning, so all the boxes will be dropped off at Lindsey’s on Friday afternoon. Since Lindsey often closes early on Fridays, we are leaving the boxes on a table in the small shed (smokehouse) behind the building. They can be picked up anytime after 4pm.
